Activities

1/ LONG-TERM EVS

The starting date is during the year and activities last 6-12 months.

Long-term EVS includes 6 volunteers.

The volunteers can be involved to five profiles (mostly 2 of them are for sport profiles):

sport, creative, media, work with youth, work with children

 

SPORT

Regular activities of sport profile are preparation, organisation and realisation activites in sport hobby groups (florball, tenis, …) and sport events (tournaments, competitions, …). Irregular activities are stay programs for schools (teamwork, adaptation program, …), camps (sporting camps, camps for teenagers, …).  These activities include 60% of total EVS activity.

 

CREATIVE

Regular activities of creative profile are preparation, organisation and realisation activities in creative hobby groups (creative workshops, ceramics, …). Irregular activities are public events, programs for schools and camps, production of gift and promotional subjects, help with the decoration of the public events, help with decoration of the building SVC Ivancice, surrounding area and grown garden. These activities include 60% of total EVS activity.

 

MEDIA

Regular activities of media profile are preparation, organisation and realisation activities in media hobby groups (media studio, photo club, editorial board of magazine DRAFT). The volunteer will cooperate on the promotional and media activities such as sorting and distribution of posters, update facebook and webside of EVS. Irregular activities are taking pictures, editing and making videospots from the activity of SVC Ivancice. The volunteer will partcipate in camps, programmes for schools and public events. These activities include 60% of total EVS activity.

 

 

WORK WITH YOUTH

Regular activities of youth profile are preparation, organisation and realisation activities in youth clubs and information youth centre. The volunteer will cooperate on programs of hobby groups (youth parliament, media studio, dance club for teenagers…). Irregular activities are public events (EVS festival, Bambifest, …), camps (camps for teenagers, …), programs for schools (adaptation programs, …). These activities include 60% of total EVS activity.

 

WORK WITH CHILDREN

Regular activities of children profile are preparation, organisation and realisation activities in Children’s centre such as creating, painting, sporting, learning simple games, …The volunteer will engage in activities such as hobby groups (creative hobby groups, ceramics, …) Irregular activities are public events (fairlytale events, children’s days, …) and camps.  These activities include 60% of total EVS activity.

 

Working process at the weekends and Summer holiday

Public events, community events for order or tournamensts and competitions are held during the weekends. During the Summer holiday are held above all summer camps for all agy groups. The camps are held in Ivancice (urban, within 5 days) and outside of Ivancice (stay, over 5 days). The volunteers are also involved to these activities.

 

Other activities common for all volunteers including 40% of total EVS activity

Promote the idea of an Europen awareness in the region of Ivancice, learn Czech language, create owns miniprojects, create and update websides of EVS, organise presentations in schools and for public, participate in informal educational activities of SVC Ivancice, bring new ideas to the activity of SVC Ivancice and exchange of experience, create media spots/films, help with the promotion and decoration of the building SVC, surrounding area and grown garden, engage in intercultural programs and activities with other EVS volunteers, learn to write projects , realise conversational lessons in mother tongue, engage in activities in cooperation with other centres for leisure time activities (maximum one day in a week).

 

2/ SHORT-TERM EVS

The starting date is in April/May and activities last 2 months.

Short-term EVS includes 2 volunteers.

The volunteer will cooperate on preparation, organisation and realisation events for public in this period (festivals, children’ days, witches rally, …). The volunteer will help with staffing, material support and promotion. He/she will engage in events by own miniprojects, workshops and own ideas. The volunteer will  promote the idea of an European awareness in the region of Ivancice, bring new ideas to the activity of SVC Ivancice, exchange of experience, create own media spot/film, help with the promotion and decoration.
